If you live independently in your own home, but are no longer driving, you probably miss your regular shopping trips. After all, shopping is a great way to while away a few hours, not to mention the opportunity to catch up with a friend and grab some groceries. And we are lucky enough to have some great shopping centres on the Central Coast!
Community Transport offers two great ways for you to get back to your independent shopping trips without relying on family or friends.
Access Buses visit different shopping centres across the Central Coast on a regular weekly basis. Only items that you can carry on your lap can be brought on these trips. Access Buses are great for a browse around a shopping centre, a lunch date, or when you just need a few grocery items. The timetable covers Gosford, Wyong and Peninsula shopping centres, so you can mix it up each week!
For some serious retail therapy or to stock up on groceries, book onto one of our scheduled Central Coast shopping trips for over 65s and transport disadvantaged community members.
Check out the calendar for Access and scheduled transport services to shopping centres.
