No matter where you want to go and why you want to go there, our EVERYDAY TRANSPORT service is for you. Picking you up from your Central Coast home and transporting you to social, recreational, hair or medical appointments, Community Transport is so much easier than public transport or taxis.
For Older Australians or transport disadvantaged, Community Transport services can be a lifeline, but our service is available to all people. Transport is subsidised for My Aged Care (over 65s) clients, while NDIS participants can use their allocated funds for travel. Anybody who lives on the Central Coast can use Community Transport services at full fee, although transport disadvantaged people may receive a discount.
Our driver will knock on your door at the appointed time and escort you to the vehicle. If you need help with your bags, mobility aids or wheelchair, our driver can assist – just let us know at the time of booking. There’s no need to walk to a bus stop or train station, and no more rushing out of the door in case the another transport soption leaves without you. Community Transport Central Coast operates at your pace, going the extra mile to make your life easier.
Arranging medical transport can add worry to what is often a stressful time, so relying on Community Transport for your medical transport will really help. Our transport services don’t stop there: we aim to help you stay in your own home for longer and live a fuller life.
Within reason, Community Transport will take you anywhere. Community Transport will pick you up from your Central Coast home and drop you to the door. Your destination does not need to be a Central Coast location – we can also take you to Sydney and Newcastle.
